Bridal Showers
Kimberly Acerson: Kris Hale is accepting donations between Sunday evening and Tuesday night, if you'd like to go in on a group gift for her bridal shower.
Menolly Esteb, Logan Nelson's fiancée: Janelle Hillyard is accepting donations until Monday, if you'd like to go in on a gift for her bridal shower.

School Bag Project ends September 1st. Thank you for responding so well to our school bag project. We especially appreciate (Karen’s daughter) Shannon Smith’s sewing a lot of our bags—the red ones—so please give her a big thank you when you see her! We have another 15 or so bags that need to be filled, and now is the time since items are low-priced! Remember, when these are filled, we won’t be sewing any more bags. Please give them to Marta D., Marta V. or Mary Jane (as Connie will be out of town) before September 1st.
Our next project will be Hygiene Kits. Please take a hand-out that is in the RS notebooks. Read it carefully and turn in COMPLETED KITS only! Label the bags with masking tape and your name. Since this is a family project, we will send around a sign-up sheet for the estimated number of kits your family plans to donate by the end of October. We have set a minimum goal of 500 from our ward. (That’s just a dent in a disaster.) Questions? Call Mary Jane, 801 796-7449. Again, we thank you for your helping hands!
FYI: If you donate money under humanitarian aid on the tithing slip, it automatically goes to church headquarters in Salt Lake. Some have thought the money remained in our ward. Not so. Just so you know.
