STAKE CENTER REPAIRS - FYI...
As some of you may know, the settling of the stake center building has broken some sewer pipes that service the kitchen, the bathrooms and the baptismal font.

The work is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 1, and be completed within two weeks before Sunday, October 14.  We will still be able to view General Conference in the Stake Center as normal on October 6 & 7 although only a few of the bathrooms will be in service.  The west hallway class rooms and offices will not be accessible during much of the time.

The chapel and gym and the east side of the building will not be affected by the construction and may be used as normal.
CARRY ON AND BE HAPPY!

Stay within the Lines

TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE.....
When finding a solution or when prayers are needed, it is nice to know we have some friends on our side. Sister Lisa Harris is seeking a solution to the dilemma of needing to sell her home due to part of the agreement made in her divorce. At this time she only qualifies to be able to purchase the home from Brent, but not for the extra cash needed to buy out his share of the equity. This also means losing the studio she built where she teaches and records. This studio will be her major source of income after alimony runs out in January, and also serves as Hailey's source of employment and income. Lisa is praying for a miracle that perhaps there may be a buyer out there who would like a rental property and she can rent it from them until she can qualify to buy it next year, OR, maybe we could just find her one of those "stargazing jackets" we heard about at regional conference ;-)
